Seven Knights Re:Birth Beginner Guide - Everything You Need To Know
Seven Knights Re:Birth is a brand new action turn based RPG game where players can deploy all the best characters from the history of Seven Knights onto the battlefield to fight against many different enemies and clear dangerous and difficult contents in the game.
Unlike it predecessors, Seven Knights Re:Birth have a lot of brand new systems that players need to know and get used to before actively playing the game:
Character Cards Rarity & Star Rating
The first and one of the most important mechanics players need to understand when playing Seven Knights Re:Birth is the confusing character card system. Unlike in many different games where a character’s rarity is denoted by the amount of stars on their card, Seven Knights Re:Birth’s card system is a bit different, with a character card rarity and star rating being completely different.
A Character Card’s Rarity is shown through the background color of the character card, with different colors denoting different rarity for the character card: Green for Rare, Blue for Super Rare and Gold for SSR. Generally, players will only be able to obtain SSR cards in the gacha at a very low rate, with the majority of cards available being Green or Blue cards.
Aside of a character card’s rarity is the card’s Star Rating. Every Cards in the game have a different Star Rating assigned to them and every cards can be upgraded from 1 Star to 6 Stars Rating gradually through different processes in the Game, In order to raise the Star Rating of a card, players will need to have that card maxed out and spend a decent amount of in game currencies through farming to increase their star rating.
If players want to obtain the best cards of the highest rarity and highest star rating in the game, you can make the best use of LDPlayer’s the best Emulator on PC.
Character Cards Levels & Enhancements
The leveling system for the different character cards in Seven Knights Re:Birth is also very interesting and complicated, with each Character Card having their levels split into 2 different values: Card Level and Enhancement Levels.
A Card’s Level is your typical RPG leveling system, where players can gain EXP from battles and clearing stages to increase a card’s level to gain boosts in stats and effects. In Seven Knights Re:Birth, the only way players can gain EXP to level up different cards is through the process of grinding the battle stages, with no EXP boosting items or EXP potions that you can use. Additionally, all character cards have their Card Level maxed out at 30 no matter the rarity.
A Card’s Enhancement level is a bit more complicated, where players need to spend a decent amount of resources and gold in order to increase. A Card’s enhancement level can be raised through the Enhancement process, where players will have to sacrifice a set number of Monster Cards in order to have the chance to increase a card’s Enhancement level. The higher the rarity and star rating of the monster card sacrificed, the higher chance of raising that card’s enhancement level. A card can have its enhancement level increase up to +5.
Character Cards Fusion & Advancement
One of the ways players can obtain various different character cards without having to gacha and obtain the characters is through the game’s special Card Fusion Mechanic.
This system is unlocked when the player has completed the first chapter of the main story and is a very interesting function. In order to initiate a card fusion, players will need to have 2 cards of the same Star Rating at +5 Enhancement level. Upon initiating the Fusion process, you will lose the 2 cards you put into fusion and will be able to gain a brand new randomly generated card at a higher Star Rating. However, it is important for players to note that the rarity of the card is completely randomized, only the star rating is increased, meaning if you spend 2 Blue Cards to use in Fusion, you can still obtain a higher Star Rating Green card when the Fusion is finished.
When doing Fusion, players will have a small chance to obtain various character cards at higher rarity, with the chance to obtain a high rarity gold card being increased with every time you initiate a Card Fusion.
Battle Formation & Skill Order
Before entering a battle, players will have the ability to assign up to 5 different characters onto the battlefield in different formations against the enemies to fight in a turn based combat gameplay.
These Battle Formations in the game each have their own unique quirks and abilities, with each providing you with different amounts of stat boosts and each having different advantages and disadvantages depending on the amount of characters and the character class that you deploy. For example, the normal default formation is a 2-3 formation, with 2 characters in front and 3 characters in the back, suitable for a team where you can deploy 2 tanks and 3 DPS Characters, allowing the tanks to protect your DPS characters.
Additionally, at the start of a battle, players will have the ability to adjust the skill usage order of the team before the battle start. Unlike other RPGs where you can use multiple characters’ skills at the same time to buff up the team and deal damage to the enemies, Seven Knights Re:Birth works on a Universal Skill Cooldown system, meaning you can only use 1 character skill after a certain amount of turns or actions have ed. Therefore, players should set their skill order on auto accordingly through the Skill Usage Order section, asg up to 3 skills that can be used by characters when they are in battle.
Seven Knights Re:Birth Beginner Guide - Tips & Tricks On Fast Progression
Be Careful With Card Fusion
While it might be tempting to spend a lot of your character cards at low rarity and low star rating to Fuse them together for a chance to obtain higher rarity Character Cards, players should absolutely think carefully before spending their precious character cards on the Fusion system.
As mentioned, the Fusion system only increases the star rating of the final product when fusing and doesn’t take into the rarity of the different material cards used. This means that the rarity of the final product is completely random, making it hard for you to determine what the final card you can get from the Fusion process is. This may result in you getting high star rating monster cards instead of character cards, making it highly undesirable.
Use The Game’s Auto Battle Repeat & Advance Function
To allow players to have a quick and easy time farming in the game, Seven Knights Re:Birth offer players a variety of different ways to auto repeat battling and auto advance battling into future stages completely for free.
Upon completing a stage, players will have the ability to choose whether to automatically continue to the next stage or to repeat the same stage by clicking on the different check boxes, with the check box to the left repeating the stage and the check box to the right advancing to future stages.
Additionally, the game provides players with an amazing background repeat battle function, where you can run up to 30 battle stages to farm character card EXP, with the game even rotating the maxed level character cards out of the team in order to help maximize the EXP gain from farming as well.
